Various drum instruments now enjoy freedom about variable gate time duration as if “open/close” pedal is implemented to each of them. Also featured are extreme long duration effect with pitch and other parameters evolve over time. Sound effects are inserted too to show off the possibilities of the RC-808 as a synth.
さまざまなインストにオープンクローズゲートを使用したトラックです。異常に長いヂュレーション効果を使い、持続中にピッチなどの時間的な変化をつけています。シンセサイザーとしてのRC-808という事でSEなども挿入しています。
Gated effect applied to the resonant bass sound reminiscence of the TB-303. Scratch effect are emulated with noise.
TB-303を意識したレゾナンスベースにもゲート効果をつけました。また、ノイズによるスクラッチ音色を模倣しています。
This track focuses on gated effect. Different gate time is applied to all the instruments per note so that the effect is even more prominent. This fulfills the dream which Plastikman (Ritchie Hawtin) couldn’t make it real- cut the TR-808 sound with gate.
ゲート効果に特化したトラックです。各インストのゲートを玉ごとに長さを変えることで強調してみました。プラスティックマン（リッチーホーティン）ができなかった生のTR808をゲートで切るという事をやっています。
Sounds like a typical HIPHOP or R&B rhythm, but applying extra large fluctuation to the sine wave bass gate revelates how the 808 will be used in advanced future world.
HIPHOPあるいはR&Bを代表するようなリズムですが、特にサイン波のベースゲートの振れ幅を大きくする事で、進化した808の使い方を啓示してみました。
The drum synthesizer aspect of the RC-808 is expressed prominently by actively applying gate to every single instrument, and also applying pitch and sonic changes over time on long duration gate sounds too.

ドラム乱れ打ち。ドラム音色がラップをしたらどうなるかをテーマに作りました。
Replicating the ghost note with white noise. Percussion sounds that you’ve never heard now made possible with self oscillating filter. Heavy low fat kick with pitch evolving over time. These instrument sounds comprises this track.
ホワイトノイズによるゴーストの再現。フィルターの発振による聴いたこともないようなパーカッション。重低音で時間的な音程変化を伴うキックなどを組み合わせてみました。
とても実験的なトラックです。ホワイトノイズとフィルター発振を基本に音色合成をし、全てにゲート動作をさせてみました。ステレオのパンニングにもご注目ください。
A very experimental track. White noise and self oscillating filter makes the foundation of the synthesis heard here, and all instruments have actively changing gate time too. Listen also to how the sounds are panned across the stereo sound space.
Kick with pitch curve sounding like tabla is fused with typical TR-808 sound, and of course gated too.

Bass Drum, Snare Drum, and Cowbell has Open/Mid/Close sound variation added with duration control. HandClap can create even the turntablists’ scratch performance by applying 4 pitches and duration control together.
